AIME Paris 2026: Different Perspectives on Facial Rejuvenation at Our Symposium

On June 18–19, we participated in AIME – International Congress on Aesthetic Medicine, Plastic Surgery, Anti-Aging & Cosmetology, held in Paris.

One of the highlights of this year’s edition was our symposium, held on June 19, which generated engaging discussions around a topic of great interest to practitioners: the role of thread lifting in facial rejuvenation and lifting strategies.

Optimizing Thread Efficiency: Spring Thread as an Alternative Approach to Facial Rejuvenation and Lifting

Entitled “Optimizing Thread Efficiency: Spring Thread as an Alternative Approach to Facial Rejuvenation and Lifting”, the symposium brought together speakers with complementary backgrounds:

  • Dr. Brice Tchakerian
  • Dominique Malard, CEO
  • Dr. Delphine Haddad
  • Dr. Jean-Pierre Amsellem

One of the most valuable aspects of the session was the diversity of perspectives presented. Aesthetic physicians and plastic surgeons shared their clinical experience and views on the use of thread lifting, allowing attendees to compare different approaches to facial rejuvenation.

While some speakers focused on integrating threads into a comprehensive aesthetic medicine treatment plan, others provided a surgical perspective, discussing where thread lifting fits within the broader range of facial rejuvenation options.

A Discussion Rooted in Clinical Practice

Beyond theory, the presentations were firmly grounded in clinical experience, highlighting patient selection, treatment indications, expected outcomes, and practical considerations.

This exchange of expertise and real-world experience led to particularly insightful discussions, demonstrating the complementarity of aesthetic medicine and surgical approaches rather than any opposition between them. It also emphasized the importance of tailoring treatment strategies to each patient’s anatomy, expectations, and objectives.

A Congress Focused on Knowledge Sharing

AIME remains a key meeting point for professionals in aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery. The 2026 edition once again highlighted the value of interdisciplinary dialogue and the importance of sharing experiences among practitioners with diverse backgrounds and expertise.

We were delighted to contribute to these discussions and to share our expertise alongside renowned speakers during a symposium that attracted significant interest and engagement from attendees.
